SCREEN FOREVER 2026 WRAP UP!

Our team had a fantastic time on the Gold Coast at Screen Forever 40. Here's Clare taking over to wrap up their week:
Hey! Clare here 👋 reporting in from Screen Forever 40 on the Gold Coast! And what a huge few days we’ve had! We have had an awesome and inspiring few days of meetings, panels, networking drinks, and everything in-between.
On Monday we were honoured to be selected to attend Global Connect ahead of the main conference, where the spotlight was on international co-pros. We met some awesome fellow producers from all around the world, giving us a fresh bubble of inspiration of new and exiting ways to collaborate globally. 🌏
And then on Tuesday the conference really kicked off. The opening ceremony was a great way to start with an absolutely beautiful acknowledgement of country by Sophia Eurell from Dreamtime Artistry before Screen Producers Australia CEO Matthew Deaner reflected on the momentous year for Australian screen producers introducing new streaming content quotas. And, of course, on Tuesday we took the opportunity to say hi to some of our dear friends and collaborators, with meetings, meetings, and more meetings, before heading to the Audio Network opening night drinks to round out the day. 🥂
On Wednesday we had a great day of Matched Market Meetings, connecting with marketplace partners both new and old. Louise also opened the panel The New Brand Entertainment Playbook with an exclusive to SF40 announcement of AMH’s newest division Procurement & Brand for gap financing, sponsorship and casting. Thursday saw more production partnership meetings in the morning, followed by Louise’s panel; Fandom is the New Audience Strategy. It was an inspiring discussion chatting all things fans and audience. We were chuffed to be chatting with Luke Bateman of LDBF, Marci Wiseman from The Wiseman Group/XYZ Films, and Elsie Choi of CJ ENM America and Studio Dragon Global. Our wonderful moderator Nicholas Verso from Asphodel Films kept the discussion thoughtful and on-track. Thanks for producing such a wonderful session, Caden Pearson! ✏️
Thanks to everyone who reached out to connect with us, we love seeing your beautiful faces and meeting new friends. Closing out the conference we hit the red carpet and partied after the SPA awards Thursday night. Congrats to all of the award winners! 🌟
